Magic Happens Rabbit Rescue

Magic Happens Rabbit Rescue is a network of volunteers/foster homes centered in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and serves Louisiana, Mississippi, and occasionally other states. Our mission is to rescue &amp; find loving homes for rabbits that are at animal control facilities, abandoned or turned loose, or are unwanted by their owners. We also rescue &amp; adopt out guinea pigs, hamsters, and occasionally other small pets.We strive to educate and serve our community through presentations and educational booths at events and club meetings so that rabbits &amp; owners will have a happier &amp; healthier life together. Magic Happens Rabbit Rescue is a 501c3 approved non-profit. We do not have a public shelter location since we are foster home based.We started a Patreon as another way to connect with our followers and fans who help us make Magic Happen! Monthly donations help us take care of bunny and guinea pig monthly costs such as: Hay, food, bedding (for guinea pigs), and of course medical costs. It is our goal for our Patreon team to be our medical team - You will be the first to hear of our most recent medical cases, intakes, and latest news going on at Magic Happens.

This tier grants you access to all of our announcements and updates! This includes latest intakes and happenings behind the scenes that we're not quite ready yet to post publicly and you are an important part of our medical team! We are ALWAYS going to the vet for spays, neuters, fecal tests, RHDV2 vaccines, and so forth. These tiny but important tier helps us keep going!!

Hamster Tier

All the benefits and updates of the previous tier PLUS like a guinea pig, you get to be a bit more vocal! You get to vote when we are deciding design ideas for fundraisers, need help naming new intakes, and you get exclusive looks at upcoming auctions, online shop items, and whatever else we can think of.

Guinea Pig Tier

All of the benefits of the previous tier - PLUS sneak previews of new intakes adoptable photos, yearly Christmas cards, and access to purchase our exclusive adoptable bun stickers and early access to purchase enamel pins (as they are available)!

Rabbit Tier

All of the benefits of the previous tier - PLUS you will receive monthly receive stickers in the mail featuring bunnies, guinea pigs, or hamsters! Once you've been with us for 1 month you'll receive either previous months exclusive stickers and/or one of our limited edition enamel pins! (Dependent on available supplies)Monthly Mail will arrive with a thank you note 'signed' (read: nibbled and then signed by volunteer) by one of our adoptables and some stickers to show our appreciation for you stickin' around ;) and helping us help the bunnies!! We're hoping to include more things in this tier as we think on easy mail-able items and we'd like to do exclusive pins for patrons when they hit 1 year with us on Patreon!

Monthly Mail Club

All the benefits of the previous tiers (including monthly mail!) PLUS: You guessed it, medical details. We know who you are, you want pictures and details on those weird or gory medical cases we get. We do our best to grab pictures but if we don't get pictures before things happen we'll give you a lovely paragraph of what it was and and how it happened. We can also pretty much guarantee an unfiltered rant or discussion on whatever situation the animal came from.
