Adoptable Rabbits and Guinea Pigs

Thanks for thinking of the Adoption Option! Our adoptables come from all walks of life - owners moving or no longer have time, kids lost interest, stray, or from the pound or other rescues that don't normally handle bunnies. All summer we seem to receive entire litters from people who were sold "two females."

These pets are kept in foster parent's homes. We often bring 5-8 rabbits and often a few guinea pigs to adoption days (see homepage calendar for dates and locations). If you'd like to visit with a specific pet or meet the gang to pick one out, just fill out an adoption application to let us know and we'll do our best to have your top picks at the next adoption day or Care Day.

Please have a look at our guys and gals that are looking for new homes, and don't forget to click each bunny or animal's name for more pictures and information.

Rabbits that DO NOT have "hold" or "pending" next to their name are Available for Adoption. We do our best to keep their profiles updated, each rabbit has a bio that contains what background information we know about them (i.e if they do well around dogs, cats, kids), as well as personality information. We highly recommend reading the bio of the rabbit/guinea pig you are interested in prior to filling out an adoption application/inquiry. Availability is updated on a daily basis after applications are in and reviewed.

Didn't see just the right bun?

Even though we keep around 35-50 rabbits in our foster homes, we still keep a waiting list of other rabbits that need homes that we just don't have a spot for yet. Some of the families submit photos and you can browse them on our Facebook page's Waiting List photo album. Some families don't send photos, so if you are looking for a particular breed or personality, shoot us an email and we'll see if we can find a match.

Also check out our Happy Tails page for photos & letters from our adopted bun families as well as the profiles of all pets adopted through Magic Happens.

About Us

Magic Happens Rabbit Rescue's primary mission is to take in rabbits that need new homes, have them spayed or neutered, and find them new homes. We are a 501c3 approved, no-kill rescue; we will keep a rabbit as long as we have to until it finds a new home, whether it is 5 days or 5 years.
